Dear families and friends from the Waukee Community School District!
My name is Armel Traore Dit Nignan, and I’m excited to share that I’m running for re-election to the Waukee School Board!
Since 2021, I’ve had the honor of serving in several capacities, including as chair of the Policy and Financial Services Committees. I’ve been an active member of these two committees concurrently for the past two years, and as of late 2024, I also serve as Vice President of the board. Throughout my years of service, I’ve been committed to supporting our students, staff, and families through thoughtful and collaborative leadership.
Outside the district, I also represent Waukee on the Dallas County Assessor’s Conference Board (for the past three years) and serve on the Blank Park Zoo Board, continuing my commitment to public service and our greater community.
As a dad with two kids in Waukee schools and a background in data and analytics, I’m focused on:
Expanding opportunities for all students
Managing growth thoughtfully and responsibly
Prioritizing the well-being of our community
I believe in the power of community, and I’d be honored to continue serving Waukee with heart and purpose. I appreciate your support!
