To ensure our students develop durable skills, Armel is dedicated to strengthening collaboration between the school district, the private sector, and higher education institutions. As a school board member, Armel will champion initiatives that provide diverse pathways for graduates, ensure staff have the support and resources to create engaging, student-centric learning environments, and utilize data to customize each student’s journey for optimal success.

Armel remains a responsible steward of the resources entrusted to the school board by the public. The district’s business office has a proven track record, earning numerous Certificates of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Armel will continue to build on this foundation and provide the oversight and support needed to maintain this culture of financial excellence and integrity. Armel will also ensure that public input is actively sought in determining how and where resources are dedicated. It’s by working together that the district will determine the path to keep it financially sound for years to come, ensuring its ability to invest in the well-being and success of every student.

Armel is committed to mental health and wellbeing as a strategic priority for the district and will work to provide appropriate training and resources for our staff, parents, and students to take an active role in assessing and addressing challenges, all while fostering a safe and collaborative learning environment where every individual feels supported, respected, and empowered to thrive.
